The cottages are within easy walking distance of Clapham Village amenities which include The Local Inn and Village shop.
Clapham Cave and Nature Trail are so close to hand and an easy stroll from the Cottages.
Market towns of Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale are nearby with Farmers Markets being available on a regular basis.
Morecambe and Lancaster are about 30 minutes by car. Stunning views can be enjoyed from Morecambe Promenade over looking Grange Over Sands and the Lake District Fells.

The area is ideal for those that enjoy the game. To name just a few:-

Bentham,18 hole, 5 miles
Kirkby Lonsdale, 18 hole, 10 miles
Casterton,9 hole,10 miles .
Then of course there are other courses at Morecambe, Lancaster, Skipton and Kendal.
FISHING
Salmon, Sea Trout and Trout can be fished for locally subject to Ticket availability.Rivers include, The Ribble, The Greta, The Lune and the Wenning.
